In its current form, the Virtual RIVERE Center is an early prototype that provides 2D conceptual representation of the spaces, components, and activities that will be available in the RIVERE Ecological Center. In future iterations, the RIVERE Virtual Center will evolve to become an interactive digital space that is integrated with the architectural renderings of the building and viewed through Virtual Reality goggles (in addition to 2D on a laptop). Through advanced augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) integration, real-time environmental intelligence, and interactive experiences, the Virtual Center will integrate research and education in a technically advanced coworking space, around a single mission: accelerating ecopreneurship, watershed science, education, and ecoculture to protect and promote stewardship of the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake Bay.
The RIVERE Virtual Center will be more than just a digital representation of the physical Center - it will be a living heart of the RIVERE ecosystem, enabling RIVERE to launch its mission, establishing community engagement, research, and educational storytelling, long before construction of the physical center. Designed to evolve as the physical center develops, the Virtual Center establishes a dynamic presence to engage partners, the community, and investors in real-time collaboration.
